This is a personal notebook about one small garden: a narrow plot with four old Scots pines, sandy acid soil and more shade than any gardening book recommends.
I write down what I plant, what dies, and what surprisingly does not. Nothing here is expert advice — just a record of experiments, so that next spring I remember what I did this one.
